The Arrow is a Clow Card with the power to fire a volley of magic arrows. It is aligned under The Firey.

It is one of the fifty-three Clow Cards in the anime and its capture is only shown in the first movie.

Appearance[]

Arrow is a smallish, white girl, wearing a bluish-purple outfit consisting of shorts, a top with long, coattails, long gloves, knee-high stockings, and shoes topped with a ball on each foot. A pudding basin haircut, a red, circular gem on her forehead over her hair, and two, long pigtails held by balls. Arrow carries a short, blue bow.

Personality[]

The Arrow is an attack card with an aggressive temperament.

Magic and Abilities[]

Archery Magic: When Arrow is activated, she appears and fires a volley of arrows at her master's command.

Fortune Telling: All Clow Cards have the ability to help their user predict the future. Their method of fortune-telling is similar to that of tarot cards. The interpretation of the message the Clow Cards relay depends on the magical power of the user.

Arrow was captured during the movie's opening story arc, over spring break appears in Episode 36, and played a pivotal role in the movie finale, saving Sakura Kinomoto from drowning inside a skyscraper located in Hong Kong.

  • Unlike The Sword or The Shield, summoning The Arrow does not summon a weapon itself, but rather the entity wielding it.
  • The Arrow appears in neither the manga nor anime, and was introduced solely for the first movie.

  • The kanji at the top of the card: 矢, (Pronounced 'ya') means 'arrow' in Japanese.
