Sakura's Fun Strawberry Picking Adventure (さくらの楽しいいちご狩り, Sakura no Tanoshii Ichigo Kari) is the 38th episode of Cardcaptor Sakura. The Cardcaptors title for this episode is "A Berry Strange Day".

Summary

Sakura's class is on a field trip to a plantation where there are picking strawberries. Sakura doesn’t know which ones to pick so Yukito, who is there working and she bumped into him while ready to pick strawberries since he and Toya (who is also there) and tells Sakura that he and Yukito don’t have school, come by and helps her. After they get done picking, they eat lunch. During lunch Yamazaki makes lie leading Chiharu to struggle him and ask what is that mean and Sakura tastes Meiling's food which is delicious they find out that they won’t be using the strawberries to bake cakes since the room they will be using is locked and won’t open up which been inform by Naoko thus distressing Sakura. Sakura, Tomoyo, Syaoran, and Meiling go to the place to see if it really is locked. For some reason the door is open and they head into the room. The door closes and locks them in the room Ms. Mizuki senses this while eating her lunch. Meanwhile Yukito and Toya are eating their lunch. Yukito tells Toya about Miss Mizuki and Toya tells him that they met. Yukito asked Toya what will Sakura and the others will going to do this afternoon because the room they will use won't open. It turns out to be the work of the Lock Card. Sakura and Tomoyo try to pull the door open but it won't open and Meiling decides to break the window with a chair Syaoran notices her and yells don't do it but she hits the window but a green blast from the glass sends her into the floor hurting her rear. Now they must seal the card, but without using Clow Cards since attacks won’t work on it. Sakura calls Kero but he did not answer and he was in the kitchen looking something to eat then they hear Chiharu, Rika and Naoko outside and Meiling tells them to get help and Syaoran tells her too late not to call the others and they can't do magic and Sakura won't seal it if some people arrive. Naoko and Rika finds Toya and Yukito and tells them that Sakura and the others are locked in that room then he asked if they told them to Ms. Mizuki but Ms. Mizuki is not found and Chiharu can't find her anywhere then head to the room. While finding a way to find the Lock card Syaoran notices Toya, Yukito, Naoko and Rika coming and Sakura nearly falls off the ledge. With some help from Ms. Mizuki who was by the window sitting in a tree branch and tells Sakura by pointing in her chest, Sakura decides to use her sealing key which Ms .Mizuki tells her to "unlock" the room which releases the Lock Card and it also make the room an entire mess and Sakura seals it after it try to escape on the keyhole thanks to Syaoran. Toya and the others who were outside the room burst in worried. Sakura notices the mess caused by the Lock card sad. Ms. Mizuki cheers them up and they did clean the mess now the door is unlock and they make strawberry desserts. After making the strawberry desserts; Sakura gives Yukito some strawberry dessert she made without leaving one to Kero who told her to give some dessert to him earlier. Later at home, Kero asked where is his dessert and began to wonder if she gave it all to Yukito which she admits and tries to explain that Yukito is enjoying too much that she couldn't asked to save one. So Kero angrily chases her around her bedroom while Sakura attempts to dodge his wrath (not seen in the episode).

  • Yamazaki: Strawberries were originally from southern America. Back then, you couldn't eat strawberries much. That was because back then, strawberries could run away, unlike today. So, not many people could get ahold of them.

  • Kero: (after asking where was the dessert he was waiting for) You couldn't have given all of the dessert to the snow rabbit to eat?
  • (Sakura freezes, and then Sakura and Kero laugh)
  • Sakura: Actually, I did.
  • Kero: What?
